Great atmosphere. A bit loud. Had table of six and couldn't hear conversation of friends across the round table. Service was kind of slow. Order a bottle of wine and see the waitress walking around with it for 10 minutes before she eventually arrived to open it. She passed by our table at least twice holding the bottle of wine. One guest had his food come out cold and I have never had veal saltimbocca served with melted cheese on top. My dish was also just warm. Saltimbocca is veal, prosciutto, sage and wine. Sometimes marsala. If it hadn't been for the great friends at table, meal would be very forgettable. Creme brulee was just okay. Gelato was good though.
We were attending a small wedding. Beautiful place in the outdoor area out back. Nice deck for the ceremony, private bar, and heaters for when the sun went down, The food was delicious! All below presented and cooked perfectly: Appetizers: stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, Mari Perfectly medium rare steaks, salmon with lobster tails Hot lava cake melting in your mouth, tiramisu. Was disappointed with the chicken Parm. It was the tiniest little side pasta ever. For $24 you can go to almost any Italian restaurant and get much more for your money. The atmosphere outside was very nice. Drinks are expensive as well, $15. Bettola’s chicken parm actually tasted much better or other local restaurants give you much more for your money. Randi was our server, she was lovely and provided us with a special dining experience, she was knowledgeable, personable and offered great recommendations.
