We regularly choose to visit the Batemans Bay Bakehouse for coffee and a slice. The service by staff and star barista, Nikki, is always speedy and friendly. Try the lemon slice - it is super fresh and tasty. There is also a good selection of other cakes, pies, sandwiches and pastries available for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The indoor seating is comfortably air conditioned, or you can choose to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. There is a coffee loyalty card available for regulars.
A long established business in Batemans Bay, the Bakehouse Cafe and Patisserie is a casual and friendly eating establishment for both locals and visitors. Owner and barista, Nicki, makes one of the best coffees around. They have a great selection of cakes, pies and other niceties for breakfast, morning and afternoon teas and lunch. It is located in a central position opposite the Post Office in Batemans Bay. The staff are friendly and there is indoor or outdoor seating available.
My kids and I visited in the day time. We visited the local bakery and brought some pies and sausage rolls for lunch. They were delicious. We sat down by the water. It was so relaxing. There is a small shopping centre there withall the shops you would expect- Coles, KMart as well as some alternate stalks and pop up stored. There is an outdoor play centre in the shops for the kids to play in while you enjoy a relaxing coffee
Staying in Batemans Bay for a few days in December we had to pass the Bakehouse a couple of times during our walks around town and it always smelled so good so we popped in to get some baked goodness. The coffee was excellent, the staff was great, the croissants were decent but not as amazing as had been hyped by some acquaintances of ours and the other baked products were good enough but nothing to really write home about.

Came here for breakfast one day and the coffee was not great, extremely watered down and tasted burnt, the the ham and cheese croissant was not that great either really dry and not great on the amount! Would defiantly never eat here again! Customer service would horrible too!
Spotted this the previous evening and decided to give it a try for breakfast. Was not disappointed the pastries were excellent. I had a warm ham and cheese croissant while the other members of the party had egg and bacon rolls. Really scrummy and good value.
Ordered a bacon and egg roll with cheese and paid top dollar bread was cheap and nasty so was the bacon chewy fat all through it and stingy with amount. Never again.
The restaurant has a nice view and the staff is friendly. The breakfast rolls and sandwiches taste like homemade. Nothing exceptional, but not bad either.

A fairly popular Coffee Shop and bakery, reasonable prices and good food. Service can be quite slow when busy
Lunch at the Bakehouse. Beautiful caramel latte, pastries. Next time I'll try the cakes. Quick service.
