I've been to this Baton Rouge a good 15 times over the years. It's always enjoyable, and always exceeds other Baton Rouge steakhouses in the Montreal region in quality. If you like steakhouses, this one is pretty much a safe bet, perfect cooking every time, plus great service. Contrarily to other Baton Rouge's where they feel that "good service" is sending you an army of different waiters asking you the same thing (I find that somewhat bothersome,) this Baton Rouge keeps things a bit more personable, which makes it a lot more enjoyable. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I find it's plenty worth it for special occasions. The wine recommendations are also always top notch, which shows they...

visit to the branch on the llvd taschereau, February 2017. Home without a smile of the hostess but very warm service at the table. the ribs are always tender and juicy. my steak was served medium cooking as requested and it was tasty. The vegetables were cooked in the butter and had a little garlic taste, it was good. their new fries straw cut are even better with mayonnaise. As dessert, try the soft and hot red baton biscuit, served with a ball of vanilla ice cream. A delight!Perfect if you want to go before the cinema or an exit because the service is very fast there.

this restaurant has always offered me a good meal at a correct price. Today, however, the lobster salad on the menu was extremely disappointing. The fresh salad was accompanied by finely chopped lobster. What a terrible idea? the taste was not recognizable and the quality as well as the quantity far from justifying the requested price. I will certainly not make the detour next time. Too bad...

After so many disappointing experiences at other Baton Rouge restaurants, I decided to give this one a try. The service was very good, however the food was once again disappointing. The spinach dip tasted almost citrusy which was bizarre. My rib steak looked delicious but it was very fatty and more rare than medium rare as I had ordered. When there in Saturday night with family. They don't take reservations in evening of Saturday. The waiting time is 20 minutes. So we went there and waited for 15 minuets. It is full but not crowded. Food is good. Very warm inside. Service is always nice. 20 oz rib steak is quite a lot for one person. It can shared between 2 persons, if with another appetizer.

The worst red baton so far. too cooked pork, taste of burnt and in addition the purée was really insipid with a butter nut it could have done the trick. When my wife, a top of a surlong whose cooking was the right but a meat too fresh as hard under the tooth and its vegetables as insipid. $100 for two dishes and two beers is a bad plan!

Quick service, we were a group of 20 people. The prices are reasonable, the portions are good, the service and the quality are at the rendezvous. Compared to large chains like St-Hubert and scores, I prefer Red Stick.The ribs raised are particularly good, as well as the potato in the oven. Soup and chicken fillets were good too.

Tried the Crab Cakes as an appetizer before the steak. The big problem here is that they cut corners. They grill the cakes instead of frying them which misses the crisp richness of frying them. service in very ordinary meeting room.Meal for a person $90.00 served with hot white wine.Valet service $7.00 and have to wait outside in cold for several minutes. Disappointing experience not to renew .etions 10 people .
