To be honest, I usually stay clear of bars that call themselves things like Mickey Finns and Shenanigans, and have massive pictures of Guiness on their roofs. Not a schnapps that only notices, and I don't see anything that's special, which can only be a Wetherspoons, but with better weather... But I'm glad to say that Baz Minnies does it right and maybe that's the way it should be. Of course, all the usual accusations are present, but the atmosphere is better, the people friendly, the prices are good and it is place where you would really spend an evening instead of a quick pint. Obviously the irrigation hole for locals and ex-Pats in the area is another good sign. Dead make sure it is right...
While holidaying in Quarteira we called in to Baz Minnies for drinks a number of times during our stay. The bar is owned by a Wexford man who is welcoming and will help you out with any queries or problems. It is also a good spot to watch sports with all Gaelic games shown live. The bar is clean and well maintained and the drinks prices are competitive. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit.
Immersed to meet friends. Had a great night. Goodness. Fabulous atmosphere for Halloween. The bar and the outer surface are spectacularly covered with amazing SPOOKY things that both children and adults really enjoyed. It took Barry and his team to make a whole week and it was so good.
Great little Irish bar tucked away off the promenade.. Staff really friendly especially Seamus. Barry always on hand to ensure the pub is one of the best run in Quarteira . It’s a must visit for all sports incl gaa golf etc with karaoke few nights a week 5 Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Fabulous place. Great Owner staff. Watched the Lions vs Jaguares there. I was the only one watching Supper 15 while the rest watched Ireland Wales
