Our second meal at this small family-owned restaurant in central Loule. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed perfect Piri Piri chicken, grilled salmon and steak. Beautifully cooked and simply delicious. It is a shame that a table of fellow Brits behind us behaved with such ignorance, sending back a perfectly cooked fish dish because the skin on the top was opened. This delayed their meal and prompted a litany of unwarranted criticism and negativity towards the hard-working restaurant staff who deserved so much better. A great family run restaurant tucked away down a small side street off the main Street of Loule with outside seating on the street.The menu has a wide selection but based on our choices I would strongly recommend the black pork grilled fillet with excellent potatoes and a fresh green salad.The house red wine is first rate and tremendous value.Service with a smile and there is nowhere obvious within Loule to rival Bocage.
Excellent Portuguese Cuisine. On our journey back to Almancil from the Ancient City of Silves we visited Restaurant Bocage on 7th September 2023. The typical Portuguese food and wine served was excellent. The service was 1st Class and very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent local place offering a very high value for money Prato do dia (menu of the day). I loved my salmon steak and the dessert was even better.
Typical Portuguese food at reasonable prices. Ideal place for those who work nearby to go to lunch. There is an ATM, very friendly staff!
