I love this halal cart. You see, I work for Uber eats and usually grab lunch at a halal cart, finding a new one maybe once or twice a week. The only time I am compelled to write a review is if the food is above average. I can tell you, that this food is absolutely delicious and they are very flexible as to what they give you. For example I wanted a combination platter with everything, and had them swap half of the rice for fries. Now, I am no Karen and didn’t even expect them to do this, and as the man jammed as much food into the container as possible, I felt as if he should charge me an extra two bucks. That was not the case. He charged the standard price of 8 a platter, not including drin...
I’m giving a 1 start rating since I came , and the worker was on the phone so I said hi for him to acknowledge me, and he didn’t even turned, after a few seconds I called out again and he just turned and said give me a second, he was on his phone with some one else, after about 4 -5 minutes (this is a long wait when you are standing in front of a truck that doesn’t seem busy at all) standing there, without any service (or any other customers) I had to leave without food! I really wanted to try it, but I guess it won’t happen now!
This restaurant in Queens is one of my favorite go-to spots. It stays open until 4am, making it the perfect choice for any time of day or night, whether you're looking for a post-drinks snack, lunch, brunch, dinner, or a late night meal. I highly recommend trying the falafel in any form, whether it's in a gyro or served over rice. The staff is hardworking and friendly, and I also enjoy the chicken and lamb over rice, especially when it's minced into tiny pieces. You can also just order the falafel on its own in a box.
I have to be honest, I'm a major fan of Halal carts around the city. I ventured off to this place based on other reviews. The guy who works the cart is really nice and there not cheap or skim on the portion size however in my personal opinion the quality here was lacking.It just wasn't good, it's the basic halal you can get at any halal cart around the city. here is an updated review it is the worst of the worst it is literally to eat waste. the worker was very rude as if he hated the job or something. I and my friend both made sick, it's worse than Taco bell if they like to sit on the toilet than go here. spent $8 a teller and without drink yes stay away nyc go to shahs or halal youngs or something because eating here they have 2. guessed live.
Best lamb over rice in my personal opinion. I literally recommend this place to everyone! I’ve been coming to this cart for a few years now and it’s still the same as it always was!The platter comes with rice, salad, lamb, fries, falafel and your choice of sauce! The hot sauce is very spicy.
Went in at 3PM on Sunday 5/9. Worker was not wearing a mask. If everyone around you is wearing a mask, at least have the common courtesy to wear one as well — especially when you are a worker managing food.
