The tiki theme has me from the word go. I was treated to lunch at the Beach Hut Deli by a friend and needless to say, it is now my go to place for lunch that I know will be spectacular EVERY TIME. Fresh sandwiches, friendly people and comfortable environment! Most the the time sandwich deli spots are grab and go and if there are seats it's either cold inside and/or not the most comfy. This place is different. They try to make it warm and inviting. They also have a bunch of table outside to sit and eat. It took a little time to park until I realized there's a parking lot in the back. Big plus! I got the tuna sandwich on French roll, a bag of chips and a bottled water. Delicious sandwiches. Came here a few times. Ordered the Surfin Bird (hot) and it was good. Hit the spot todayWait time is around 10-15 mins but can be up to 30 min during lunch rush. I will start put with the positive. Great delicious sandwiches being my 1st tine eating there. Loved it and very nice people. Only problem is that its over priced. If I make a sandwich like theirs at home it may cost me 3- 5 per sandwich though I know the rent there is probably high. But 12 to 25 persandwich not including drink or chips is ridiculous. If your that lazy and cant make uourself a sandwich then go here. It's delicious but way overpriced.

Just visiting my pal Scarecrow Squiblefoot down in San Mateo and celebrating the release of the restraining order that the NBA had on him with season tickets to the Warriors and big fat deli sandwiches from the Beach Hut Deli. Wow! What a great deli, how come I've never heard of this place before? Truly a great deli, with huge sandwiches, I know one thing...I'll be back.
Was jonesing for a good hot pastrami. had seen this little deli for a while but never made it in. finally did and WOW!! ordered the RIGHTEOUS REUBEN and boy it was 'righteous ' alright!! it was truly a meal. hats off to the guy who took my order (i think he 's the owner). super friendly. keep it up!!
This was a DoorDash order. $10 for half a sandwich and it took an hour and 15 min to get, my doordasher waited over 35 minutes for it. I understand inflation and labor are high but this is a disgrace.
Great service, clean, nice atmosphere and big fresh sandwiches. No complaints here :
