During our visit on a Sunday, there were long lines at Greggs, but other food places seemed to manage the crowds better. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stop, and I would even consider it a destination in itself, especially if you don't want to travel too far for a meal. There are signs for a dog park if you're traveling with pets, along with paths for some lovely walks, which I have a picture of. Unfortunately, we were short on time and couldn't explore the outdoor areas, but our children exp...
This is the best motorway services I've ever been to! Even better than south mimms... It has a lovely glass fronted building and inside is a treasure trove of places to drink, eat and relax. Leon, Nandos, various asian places, cornwall pasty co, starbucks, curry house, and a couple of other food places The big attraction was the wetherspoons pub which backed out onto a patio with tables and a lake with abgrassy meadow behind it. lots of ducks and a lovely place to be!
