This was my first time going to Beard Papa's in a long time. After having dinner at Kabuki for my birthday at Victoria's Garden, we were surprised to see one and decided to get some cream puffs. Just a heads up, if you are going for Beard Papas, parking in my personal opinion can be a challenge. You have parking options to park on a metered parking space, parking structure or the parking lots. We get there and were welcomed by the friendly staff. In the front part of the store, we noticed the displays of the stuffed cream puffs. We decided to get 1/2 dozen box of the cream puffs. I originally went in just to get a boba drink but when I was there I decided to also try the eclairs. I ordered a boba milk tea, and it was super good! It had a good amount of boba in the drink. I tried the green tea with vanilla filling and it was soft, and had a good flavor that wasn’t too sweet but satisfied my craving for a dessert. I also ordered a strawberry one with vanilla filling and it was also good.There’s plenty of seating inside if you choose to enjoy your order there. I did go early on a weekend morning and it was empty inside the order came out fast.
Came here for a post lunch dessert, it's a small spot with sitting inside available it wasn't busy, staff were friendly and patient. I tried the original with vanilla ice cream filling it was okay, I think it was a little too stale or hard for my liking unfortunately. Although, they have so many other options I just chose to take the safe route with original vanilla. I would try this place again and maybe get something different with more flavor expectancy as well as possibly requesting more freshness.
This Beard Papa's is the best I've been to by far. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a place to rest after a long shopping spree. Their creampuffs are perfectly crispy and the filling is the perfect sweetness. The staff are nice and quick in making my food. The tables and the bathroom are always clean every time I go here. Fun and different dessert option. You can customize your cream puffs or eclairs with different creams or ice cream. Service is typically pretty slow as they are make to order and they usually only staff one or maybe two people. Worth it though if you are looking for something different. Favorite cream options are matcha and ube.
I can't get enough of their cream puffs! Our child absolutely loves their drinks with fresh, warm boba. However, the place could use a bit more cleaning to create a nicer atmosphere for hanging out.
The menu prices are somewhat high, but both the drinks and desserts are exceptionally fresh and delicious.
