Beatrix is regarded as one of the finest ice-cream makers in France, the same family has operated here from generations. We actually dropped by here specially, on our long drive from Le Puy en Velay to Vallon Pont d'Arc, given its reputation. It's a wide menu of choices, I went with a vanillla-pistachio double scoop, my wife tried the dar chocolate-coffee. Good quality and flavour, very fresh. It's very busy, so service seemed slightly distracted and consumed by the lunch service at the terrace.
We spent days with my fiancé in Vals-les-bains! and we ate the days of beatrix, because the restaurant is fabulous! the place is beautiful, the team is very pleasant and pro! and the food is top!
Coupe géante 100 au chocolat du Pérou, excellente. Accueil agréable sur une superbe terrasse ombragée. Beaucoup de table mais le service est rapide.

very good but badly placed ice in the cup, which makes the whipped cream and ice overflowing.
Fast service, ice cream not as good as ice cream from Ardèche and more expensive.
Original ice cream, shaded terrace, charming place. I recommend.
