Beatrix is regarded as one of the finest ice-cream makers in France, the same family has operated here from generations. We actually dropped by here specially, on our long drive from Le Puy en Velay to Vallon Pont d'Arc, given its reputation. It's a wide menu of choices, I went with a vanillla-pistachio double scoop, my wife tried the dar chocolate-coffee. Good quality and flavour, very fresh. It's very busy, so service seemed slightly distracted and consumed by the lunch service at the terrace.
It is a beautiful establishment, well located, where you can enjoy the best artisanal ice creams in the region. Since I’ve been out a little season, unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to test the crêperie and the restaurant, and I can’t pronounce myself. But if you want to eat a good ice, it's definitely the place to go. I personally recommend their ice creams with blueberry or brown, which are truly exceptional.
We spent days with my fiancé in Vals-les-bains! and we ate the days of beatrix, because the restaurant is fabulous! the place is beautiful, the team is very pleasant and pro! and the food is top!
