Seems this is the go-to place on a Sunday morning ... it was pretty busy although there were still places to sit when we got there ... lots of cyclists stop here for a caffeine fix and the place is pet friendly as many of the people sitting at the outside tables had their dogs ... we wish we had found this place earlier on our holiday instead of the last weekend ... oh, and nice coffee and hot cross buns too!
Went to Beck's Bakehouse for lunch today for the first time since the extensions and noticed the change immediately. There is a lot more under cover seating than before as well as seats under umbrellas, although it is not quite finished as there is still...More
Becks café sells very good home made pies and cakes and all sorts of goodies, including really nice iced buns. When a place is as busy as Becks its a sure sign of satisfied customers and we certainly weren't disappointed.
I'm sorry to say we went there today my chicken pastie was just warm,and the chicken and vegies inside the pastie were not soft at all , left half of it behind, wont be going back anytime soon to have one of them again.. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went bowling around Sunday lunchtime and wanted something to eat afterwards before piling down the beach. Great selection of pies, pasties, sandwiches and cakes. Quite busy but not heinous. Nice outdoor seating area
Always on point. Recent refurbishments to the outdoor area. Always packed on the weekends so a table is not guaranteed. If you have time, a great place to people watch whilst enjoying a coffee
Good spread of pasties and the vegetarian pie is really good too and Im not even a vegetarian !! the finger buns are always fresh, The iced coffee from the café is worth the stop..
