We had already decided to eat at this place during our day trip to the Dickens Museum. A London taxi driver had mentioned that Beck's Cafe was popular with cabbies in the evenings, which was a good sign. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered the English Breakfast, while my mom had jam on toast with tea. Our food arrived quickly and tasted great. We noticed that the local police department was nearby, as several policemen stopped in for a meal, another positive sign. The restaurant also had a downstairs dining area available.
One of the things we wanted to make sure we did while visiting the UK was to have a full proper English breakfast and this place absolutely delivered! We got full English breakfasts with toast and a coffee for such a reasonable price and the food was great quality. This spot also had really good vibes and the staff were super friendly (and patient with our accents! . We would definitely recommend
Stayed in the Premier Inn (literally a 30 second walk). The food was absolutely incredible. We went for breakfast here every morning because it was so good. Staff were excellent with us and were very friendly to the kids. Would 100% recommend! I went with the tried and tested fry up. Kids loved their pancakes and the other half had their omelettes. Awesome!
Went here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised on quality and quantity of food supplied. Nothing was a bother and food was cooked exactly how it was requested Only slight niggle was service is included on final bill, but apart from that, will definitely go again if I am in that area. This cafe is fantastic and serves the best breakfast you can find in the area. It is extremely clean, offers fast service, and has friendly staff. It is exactly what you would expect from a great cafe. Excellent.
This cafe is fantastic, with friendly staff and delicious food. You can choose to sit inside or outside on a quiet street next to the Premier Inn.

Fabulous friendly service. The menu was very varied and all three dishes we had were enjoyed by our group. Not bad prices either.
