I stopped by Beggars Pizza around 2 PM after a grueling 12-hour work shift. Exhausted, starving, and looking rough, I discovered my bank card was blocked, leaving me with only loose change in my wallet. I wanted to buy two slices of sausage pizza, and Mike was there to take my order. He was kind, friendly, professional, and incredibly patient. This was the best customer service experience I've ever had in Downers Grove. I can't thank him enough. After such a long, tough day, this kind of service was exactly what I needed. We moved near the DG location about a year ago, and we recently tried our first pizza there. Wow! The quality of the ingredients, the thin crust, and the perfect baking made it absolutely perfect! We’re officially hooked!
Beggars Pizza offers outstanding pizza, and the staff is incredibly friendly. While it is primarily a takeout spot, they also provide indoor seating. The menu features a great variety of options to satisfy any craving.
A cozy spot for delicious pizza! It can accommodate small groups, but it’s not a full-service restaurant. They don’t serve alcohol, which isn’t an issue for me. If I’m nearby again, I’ll definitely come back!
