as a tourist, in the city of hay, we were looking for a bakery to eat a simple sandwich, when the slate proposed drew our gaze and attracted our taste buds! Two of the three dishes of the day offered arrived on our table: chicken, basmati rice with cashew nuts and its peanut rain for me, a seafood variant for my husband. the whole watered with a rather strong cocktail based on green lemon and rum but which accompanied the dish wonderfully. this small restaurant is very charming and especially managed with a master's hand by a couple with a brilliant kindness. then to change, avoid the cliché "to hay, I eat of faith" and instead make a disappointing stop in this small Brazilian quality.
the kitchen reflects the good dishes and the sun of the beret, without chichi and delicate with real discoveries for me. The chief is of incredible kindness, super talented and modest. He has a heart to please and is very attentive as well as the people in service. the place is cozy and there is the possibility to eat outside to the good franquette. you feel good; couple or friends. There's a lot of juice on the menu with some that you don't know necessarily, so before you start asking him instead for a glass background because if you don't like it offers the glass! The plates are copyy but it is a pure treat! and super value for money. I'll go back with great joy!
We entered it by chance, there was only us in the restaurant. The boss is nice and discreet at first! the meal was delicious and the prices are quite affordable. We took the dish of the day, chicken for me and fish for my wife. It was cooked and great! we recognize the Brazilian note on its plate. I recommend chicken croquettes in the entrance and fresh fruit cocktail in the minute!
