During the summer months we went to Beizli's enchanting chestnut garden a few times to escape the summer heat with cold drinks and the best pizza in the area. The innkeeper couple serve friendly, competently and quickly and there is no better place to spend the summer evenings in the region, sometimes with live bands and DJs on Thursdays. Now in autumn, with a cozy, Christmas-decorated fondue tent, you can once again indulge in culinary delights, either with the delicately spicy cheese fondue or, as an alternative, a hearty raclette. I spent the Chilbi weekend in Jugi Richterswil. This isn't the first time I've been there and I always enjoy the beautiful location right on the lake. Rooms and sanitary facilities are clean and functional, although you spend your time outdoors anyway, except for sleeping The highlights for me, however, are the great food, good drinks and the ambience...well-known DJs often provide sound, adapted to the time of day...I feel great in the Jugi Richterswil and can only recommend a chilled break there to take away from the city and just enjoy.. Im Frühling 2023 habe ich zum Mittagessen Chicken Bites mit Salat gegessen und bin hungrig nach Hause gegangen. Es gab vier Chicken Bites auf Salat für CHF 19.50. Vier Monate später habe ich mich heute wieder für Chicken Bites entschieden, diesmal mit Pommes, und ich war schockiert, dass es nur drei Bites auf einer großen Portion Pommes gab!!!! Das ist für CHF 19.50 völlig unvertretbar und definitiv nicht familienfreundlich für Richterswil. Wirklich schade, wir werden das Restaurant in Zukunft meiden.
Das Essen ist gut, jedoch relativ teuer und die Portionen sind sehr klein. Leider wird auch immer nur wenig Aperol, Prosecco, Wein usw. eingeschenkt. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass man nicht bedient wird, sollten die Preise niedriger sein. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist angenehm!
