Every once in a while (very rarely) you find a unicorn. What is especially surprising in this case and what sets Bella’s apart is how they continue to deliver the very best in food following an epic challenge (national pandemic) that has, in many cases, forced businesses to close their doors. Bella’s continues to deliver the highest quality food (with multiple menu options) and communicate the highest level of service given the reduction in their staff due to Covid. If you’re patient and willing to work with them during these challenges, you will be rewarded with a truly memorable experience—albeit from an establishment that started with only coffee and music! This is hands down the best burger in Virginia! The owner and chef are incredibly friendly too! I had a classic cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, loaded with all the toppings, and you could really tell it was made from high-quality, homemade ingredients. To start, I enjoyed a cup of excellent chili, and I also got to sample the custard, which was simply divine! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this charming and welcoming restaurant with the friendliest staff. This restaurant is a hidden treasure! The food is incredibly delicious, and the coffee is excellent. My Butter Beer malt shake was truly delightful. The customer service was outstanding, and the restrooms were spotless. I'm not sure if I'll be driving down this road again, but if I do, I will definitely return. If you're considering stopping here, stop hesitating! Don’t go any further and treat yourself to a wonderful meal at Bella Cafe!

Will and Maria are holding it down at this local icon. Go for the food, stay for the milkshakes (aka brain freeze), and come back for the proprietor. I love Bella's!
Great roadside spot! Burger was quite good, as was the Reuben. Kid-friendly. Great spot for post-Marine museum lunch.
