In September, I called to ask a few questions about the room and menu planning. After speaking with Filipo, I felt uneasy because our booking seemed disorganized. At the end of the call, he even asked if we had put down a deposit for that date. Fast forward to early October—we decided to visit in person due to our concerns. We met with Kathy, who informed us that they had lost our paperwork, double-booked another party for the same date, and because of this, we wouldn't have the private room we were promised. Even though we booked before the other group (who made their reservation three months after us), they wouldn’t honor our booking, so we were offered an area in the back of the restaura...
I was super hesitant coming here for my grandpa's birthday party. Walking in, it doesn't look like anything fancy and the bathrooms need some TLC (clean but falling apart), and the party area upstairs was small. Wait staff were super friendly and accommodating. Food was phenomenal! Excellent calamari. The buffet included roast beef, an Italian veal stew (awesome), cavatelli (delicious), pasta with marinara and my all time favorite chicken Marsala which was cooked perfectly. The Parmesan cheese on the table was fantastic, we all dumped it on our pasta. Very out of the way for me location wise but i would 100% return!
We also brought along our 87-year-old Italian mother, who is quite a picky eater when dining out. She declared the risotto the best she's ever had, which left us in disbelief! The atmosphere of the place is laid-back and understated; don't expect much in terms of decor, but the food makes up for it. We’ve returned several times and have never been disappointed. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you’ll have plenty of leftovers. We highly recommend giving this restaurant a try—you won’t regret it!
Best casual Italian restaurant and pizza place in the area. They have really great weekly specials. The homemade soups are always great. The Salmon in Cognac sauce is my standard go-to. Chicken Fillipo is excellent. Everything is great. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Look close . Not a fresh salad. Don't care even if you show them . Old lettuce hard pieces you can see it. Had neighbor over for dinner was embarrassed. It's the little things that matter. All costs money. PICTURE IS A THOUSAND WORDS.
Food was incredible! Authentic pasta dishes, seafoo, fresh baked brea, everything was delicious.! Excellent customer service, prompt attention, and they make you feel like family. Will definitely be back.
horrible food god forbid you complain!!! chef does not care ordered filet mignon wound up with a 25 dollar pot roast!!!! sad fact is that no one cared to make it better!!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!
