Terrible service. It took 1 hour to get our meals. The only reason we didn't get out is that we had a gift certificate. Very little space between tables. Unable to talk without talking about other people. Table next to us were very loud and harmful. Again we waited for our meal for over an hour and it was not all we could not get elsewhere in oneonta and get it faster and cheaper. We won't be back. If they don't have the staff to do the job, they shouldn't pack them so tight. We are very disappointed. And the meal wasn't better than we could come elsewhere.
I visited Bella Micheals for a late lunch on Good Friday. Unfortunately, I was not informed of any specials and when I inquired about a dish, I was served something with meat in it, which was not what I wanted. I ended up ordering shrimp parmigiana but received the wrong meal. After sending it back to the kitchen, I suspect they simply washed and reheated my original meal. I have always enjoyed coming to Bella Micheals when visiting my sister in Oneonta, but this experience has made me reconsider returning in the future. From N.H.

We had an amazing dinner during our second visit to this restaurant. The fried calamari was very tender, and I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood combo that I ordered. It was absolutely delicious! I don't think I've ever had a better seafood dish, not even in Brooklyn. The dish included clams, shrimp, calamari, squid, mussels, all served over linguini in a spicy fra diavolo sauce. Had a wonderful dinner, our second visit. The fried Calamari was very delicate and my dinner was the seafood combo that was absolutely delicious!! I don't think I ever had better, not even in Brooklyn. Clams,shrimp,calamari,squngilli,mussels,all served via linguini in a fra diablo sauce.
Yesterday’s grouper lunch special was so delicious. Casual, friendly atmosphere; excellent service.
Just a great local place to have a great dinner. Our server Monica was wonderful.
