DISGUSTING!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!! ALL KITCHEN STAFF SHOULD BE FIRED! After eating at here I never want to eat at another restaurant again. I don't eat meat, and I specifically told the waiter that (which I don't even always do when ordering a dish...that doesn't even come with meat). My daughter and me had breafkast today at B&F and while we usually love everything especially the friendly warm staff, today was not the case. After...waiting forever for someone to come see us, Georgia finally graced us with her presence. I went with my husband and we ordered a typical egg breakfast and we waited around minutes. They brought us over easy eggs instead of scramble eggs. The bread he ordered was rye and instead they brought brown. The last bad things I found...was a piece of sausage in my vegetarian plate and crusty overcooked home fries . Very disappointed with this visit. This was our second visit and previously, we were both very pleased overall. It has been a long time since we had our last breakfast in Ben Florentine and always we were thinking the menu is outdated. However this time we noticed they have changed their menu, and the new menu is interesting. My daughter love the...smoothies especially the blueberry smoothly. I like the combination of Avocado with different meals. I suggest the Omelette with avocado and spinach. Regarding the service, they are fast however they may forget some special command you have, for example changing the potato with tomato : However as soon as they realized, they brought the tomato. Weekends come around every week. This should come as no surprise to the management or, staff. It's going to be busy so, why not plan for that? We were offered coffee within minutes after being seated but, it was a half hour until our...order was taken. The waitresses were harried and other people around us were complaining about mistakes made on their orders, and the time it took to get their food. It would be one thing if the food was exceptional and unique but, other breakfast places can make breakfast just as well and serve it up in a more timely manner.
I love a good breakfast place and this is on of my favorates. I know, how can you make a different breakfast, not easy, but I think that when you have the owner insuring you are satisfied makes me want to return. What I love...about a breakfast place is how can you surprise me, yes a good cup of coffee helps, but I lost the apple jam that is included in with your meal, it gives a interesting touch to the breakfast, I have not seen that touch anywhere else. I recommend this place. Enjoy.
The server attempted to assist, but seemed unsure about how to accommodate gluten sensitivity. Despite offering gluten-free toast, it was served alongside regular toast in the same basket. Additionally, my wife, who has a garlic sensitivity, requested regular fries instead of garlic fries but still found a garlic fry mixed in with her order. It seems that the restaurant does not properly educate its staff on how to handle food sensitivities and allergies.

The restaurant provides gluten-free options on the menu, however, the only substitution available was a gluten-free burger bun. Although there was a buckwheat crepe on offer, gluten-free pancakes or toast were not available.
