I go to this place on average every 6 weeks and have been going for the last 6 years. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. Occasionally I get a hard piece of Chicken but you get that wherever you go. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The food is very reasonably priced and as it's not licensed you can take your own drinks which makes the visit even cheaper. It's not a big place and for me that makes it more cosy. They will make your dish to suit your taste, all you have to do is ask. i have been going to this resturant for over 10years.but last night will be the final time i visit.the owner has completley lost his way with customers .he was rude ,no welcome at all it was as if he did,nt want us there!.no popodomms and chutney were offeredsomething that all resturants should give .i mean what is the cost of a popodomm? we had to ask for a jug of water! i chose king prawn+chicken curry.2 king prawns,2pieces of chicken! my son had mixed grill at£9.50 very small compared to desi pubs.mine was£10.so won,t be going ever again,poor service,poor food!bengal relish your going to lose a lot of customers if you carry on like this!
I have been dining at Bengal Relish for about 7 years now and I have never had a bad meal there. The owner, Shah, and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean and charming, and they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Even though I am currently in Malta, I can't wait to return to Bengal Relish for a delicious meal. My go-to dish is the chicken Tikka Madras, which is absolutely amazing. In my opinion, there isn't another Indian restaurant that can compare. Keep up the fantastic work, Shah, and I'll see you next week.
The menu was clearly written and laid out, with reasonable prices. Food was tasty, hot (temperature), and well spiced. Had veg Jalfrezi, which not all restaurants or takeaways do. It was slightly hotter than at some places, but prefer that to not spicy enough. Also enjoyed a garlic cheese naan and stuffed paratha which were a good size. Another fantastic meal at Bengal Relish on Saturday. Friendly and polite staff, great atmosphere and beautiful food. Bengal are not licenced to sell alcohol but there are two well stocked off licences just over the road and Bengal will gladly supply you with the glasses you need. It is advisable to pre-book as they are very popular
This was my first time at Bengal Relish and it was an excellent meal. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our dishes - they were fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back.
Omg ordered from here a few times in the past and its always been great however tonight I'm so disappointed, all the food is so so cold.. the fish pakora is breaded not battered the samosas are freezing and I don't dare even open my curry now im gutted
We received a warm welcome from Shuel, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and you're allowed to bring your own alcohol. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A suprise 50th birthday curry for other half last night. There was 24 of us. The food and service was amazing. Everything delivered correctly and beautiful, steaming hot and very tasty. Can't thank Shah and staff enough.
