We love to come to Benihana to celebrate special occasions and always enjoy our food and service. Our last experience (March) wasn’t the greatest at this location had to get a manager to come to the table due to the poor service. However, this experience was AMAZING! We had Mike as our server and he was by far amazing! He was attentive, kind, helpful and was very timely on any and every request we had. I absolutely loved his service and was just all around a great experience. When I came here with my family, we were told a 15 minute wait…which ended up being more than 45 minute wait. The waiter deliberately chose the most expensive things on the menu, I told them I wanted steak and noodles and I got filet mignon. When the chef put the filet mignon on the grill, I told him to wait because I didn’t order it. He ignored me and continued to cook. The bill was outrageous and totally unnecessary. Gave the waiter less than a 10% tip, her service was horrible. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Bridget our waitress was a sweetheart. Great service! Alex the chef was entertaining and great as well. This was our first time at this location. Normally we go to the 56th street nyc location but this one was really good.
