Already reviewed hotel but thought the restaurant deserved a special mention. Firstly decor classy and simple, spacious with a mixture of seating. It was so refreshing to read a menu where I didn’t have to google something I’d never heard of or was restricted to one choice as I can’t eat spicy food. That’s not to say it’s a simple or boring menu it’s in a class of its own. They also have a comprehensive Vegan menu for those requiring such. Really nice place that surprised me. I was surprised it wasn't much busier tbh. Food was excellent without being overpriced for a hotel. Service excellent and we had a large party. Would go again. The hospitality at Bennett's Restaurant is incredible, and the food is fabulous. This was my first time dining here, and it definitely won't be my last. The overall dining experience was excellent, and I highly recommend it. The service, atmosphere, and food all receive a perfect rating of 5. The price per person for dinner is around £40-50.
The service at this restaurant was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also excellent, with a cozy and inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we highly recommend.

My favourite restaurant... well worth 5 star... but the BIG negative, hence the four stars, is the optional 10% service charge , really annoys me, this is my choice, not yours! I always ask for it to be removed, then I decide if the service has been good!
Visited the restaurant for a snack during the afternoon, prior to ab evening event, we had beef and horseradish sauce sandwiches, tea and wine. Tasty and good value.
