We felt absolutely scammed today. It 's very disappointing because I used to go to this local creamery since I was a kid and have always loved the candy shop vibe and ice cream quality. First of all, prices have increased, which is understandable, but what is NOT is the fact that there are NO SAMPLES to be offered. I don 't know about you but my friend and I don 't actually have a repository of all the possible ice cream flavors stored in our brains since we haven 't gotten around to trying everything. So it makes it really hard to branch out from what you already know, unless your server is spectacular at describing the flavors you ask about; ours was not so spectacular... Can you describe...
Love this ice cream spot, but left feeling really disappointed on my last visit. I noticed that there were some new flavors that I was curious to try and so I asked if I could sample a flavor. The worker seemed very friendly (older white lady) at first and explained that they currently do not give samples. I was just making conversation and was genuinely curious so I politely asked why. Bert Rocky's Cream Co is such a delicious place. Everything you have feels like you went to heaven and I can't get enough of it. The caramel apples are exquisite. Also, it's such a family friendly spot where wo can take our whole family and the kiddos and sit outside peacefully and relax to enjoy our desserts with our kids and parents. The staff are so sweet and hospitable and always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I love the place and the surrounding peaceful family friendly ambiance. We traveled all the way from Huntington Beach, and we left feeling disappointed with our experience. I can't help but agree with some of the comments suggesting that there may be some racial bias, as it felt like they prioritized serving people who looked like them over others, including Latinos and Latinas. On a positive note, we discovered a charming spot just up the street called Chocolate Bash.
I hope the staff can work on treating everyone with respect, regardless of their background.
I absolutely love visiting this place! It brings back childhood memories. The ice cream is fantastic, and my favorite flavor is Rocky Road. All the candy reminds me of the good old days! I also appreciate that they sell candy apples—I can't get enough of them. Hey everyone! There’s just one thing to say: this place is amazing! They have award-winning classic flavors alongside seasonal fruits and some really unique combinations. The candy counter is fantastic, featuring a variety of nostalgic candies as well. The staff here is incredibly friendly, so be sure to bring some cash for the tip jar!
Amazing place, me and my daughter come here all the time. staff is super sweet, customer service is just over the top, hard to find now days. Oh and the ice cream, best in CA???? beyond a five star rating

Great ice cream but man are their portions small for the price. A mini will give you two golf ball sized scoops for $4. And they don't offer samples. Typical Claremont.
The chocolate truffles are incredible! My favorites are the espresso and mint flavors.
