I discovered this restaurant through Google reviews and was disappointed to see that it had no reviews on Happy Cow because it truly is a great place. It is evident that they put a lot of thought and effort into their vegan options, going beyond just using vegan cheese on a pizza. The quality of the food is top-notch, with delicious vegetable toppings instead of relying solely on vegan cheese. I tried the mushroom pizza and it was fantastic, one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The atmosphere is also lovely, especially sitting at the bar above where you can watch the pizzas being made. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience.
Pizza was great, delicious sourdough base and good balance of flavours for the toppings but not a blow-your-face-off outstanding pizza. The dip selection was interesting, the harissa/aioli combo (i think it’s called the red eye) slapped! I think a bit of a wider selection would help, we wanted a starter but weren’t convinced by any option and it’s unusual for a pizza place to not serve espresso! Staff were so friendly and attentive! came over this place on Google reviews, sad it has no reviews on happy cow because it was such a great place. you could say that they thought much and time in their vegan options not only beaten vegan cheese on a pizza. really high quality, has not vegan cheese instead of just delicious vege toppings that I loved. I had a mushroom pizza and it was so good. one of the best pizzas I had. also a really nice environment, we sat at the bar above, so could see how the pizza is made! an amazing meal
Gorgeous, will Definitley be going back! I’m dairy free and the pizza was actually amazing. I normally go with no cheese because vegan cheese is horrible but this was amazing. Without a doubt, this is one of the top pizza spots in Bristol. The menu is a bit limited for vegans, but there are great vegetarian options available. I was blown away by the pizza I ordered, which had a butternut squash sauce topped with nuts and crushed kale. Absolutely delicious. This review was last updated on August 26, 2022.
Ate today at Big Bertha and it was so good! Your home made vegan sausage was delicious (I think barley was one of the most important ingredients). Taste and texture were great, and the sourdough crust was perfect.

Rude waitresses, didn’t attend throughout my meal, didn’t offer any dessert menus. They didn’t even bother to say goodbye. Nasty staff.
