This restaurant has a very cool, retro vibe. We tried the cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles and M&Ms, as well as the Bertie's Buttercrunch, both of which were fantastic. The Buttercrunch, in particular, was delicious. If you enjoy sweet and salty flavors, this is a must-try. The ice cream is a delightful combination of sweetness, saltiness, creaminess, and crunchiness. The standout, however, was the excellent service provided by the staff who were extremely pleasant, kind, and friendly. This is now our favorite ice cream spot.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Bertie's! I tried the mint Oreo flavor in a small cup and was impressed by the generous portion of two large scoops for just $4.50. The flavor was spot on, not overly artificial, with plenty of Oreo chunks. They offer a wide selection of flavors, at least 20, as well as sundaes and banana floats. The service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy with ample seating. It's a fantastic place to visit with family and friends. I would give Bertie's a perfect 10/10 rating!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The manager, Lee, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I helped a couple plan their elopement experience and we decided to celebrate at Bertie's with some ice cream. The staff welcomed the couple, their children, and me with open arms. We had a great time and felt truly cared for by everyone there. The restaurant's retro and charming atmosphere also provided a stunning backdrop for some of the couple's elopement photos! It was a wonderful experience all around.
The restaurant offers a good menu with a variety of options, including baked goods, candies, and fudge. The ice cream is decent but nothing exceptional. The seating area is nice and there is plenty of space. Upon arrival, it may be surprising to learn that it is a creamery. The parking is convenient. However, the customer service was below average. The prices are average. Overall, the experience was just okay but there are better dining options nearby.

Updated 11/22/22 Good ice cream but same flavors all the time. One thing I don't like is that the owner talks down to the young high school girls who work there. Owner seems to be a perfectionist in how he wants things done in the shop but need to be aware of how he treats his employees.
We went at 8PM on a Saturday. Surprised to see that the place was empty. Nice retro feel but the ice cream failed to impress. You could tell it was hand made hit it lacked in flavor. We will try one more time as they were out of Butter- Crunch.
This is a great place to go for ice cream. The service is always friendly, the inside is always clean, and the prices are fair. The ice cream is delicious, so I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
I had the coconut ice cream after celebrating my friend's baby's birthday at Trillium, and it was delicious. I would definitely return to try more flavors.
