Best Western Balmoral Motor Inn Restaurant

As Patron of the St Andrew Society Hobart Inc.,I once again mention the wonderful service and hospitality offered by this great family owned motel for our AGM and 'Ausmas ' (Christmas in Winter) Dinner for 2019. Our Society has been holding our functions at this Motel for many years and keep going back. As I have mentioned before, the finest of Tasmanian food and wine is offered by the friendly staff and owners. I mention Imogen, a young family member who is of great help to the staff.

Based on one other review, we tried out this restaurant, which was close to our hotel. We were looking for a moderately priced, family style restaurant, with a decent selection of food and this fit the bill! We were greeted in a friendly manner. Our order was taken and then food delivered quickly (and hot! , and the food was tasty and enjoyable. We'd go back and have no qualms recommending the restaurant to others.

We had two exceptional meals in a nice clean restaurant, attended to by very friendly and helpful waiting staff. The menu covers a fair range and the prices are reasonable. Both times we had the evening special and it was superb both times. Salmon carbonara and barramundi. The price for the special is $15 and the food was just so good. Tasty, hot and more than enough. Thoroughly recommend.

The whole visit was just great. Clean, the owners and staff so friendly and interested in you,their visitor. I would highly Recommend the curried scallops. SCrumptious! Would highly recommend to anyone.

In my personal opinion, the seafood platter for two is a must get!! Perfect sampler of all the seafood you could want for roughly $35 per person which I did
