We went in for dinner and the service started out well. I asked if the chicken supreme had bone and or skin and it was downhill from there. I ordered the fennel salad which had oranges/pecans but the main ingredient was fennel with 2 pieces of orange and it was awful. I had to tell the waitress it was awful as she did not ask but to be fair it was taken off the bill. The other entrees were lasagna and it was mediocre with small portions. The chicken supreme was not supreme: I had been told no skin just bone but there was both. It was in some dark sauce of which there was way too much of. Also the few veggies there were floating in it. I wonder if the chefs ever try their creations?
Succulent dishes and impeccable service! We had Veal Polpette starters which were tasty, without being dry (which is often the case with polpette in general) and tomatoes with fresh mozarella di buffala (Wow!). We thought we were back in Italy !! ! Main dishes: Seared scallops with saffron risotto (succulent), breaded veal with vegetables (very good, but slightly overcooked for my taste), wood-fired pizza (crunchy to perfection), tortelloni with ricotta and spinach, excellent choice too .
Food was excellent, be aware the Arancino is for two! It’s delicious but do not order this as a solo appetizer. We shared, thankfully. Our server was great. Attentive but not intrusive. As far as ambience, it was good, not fancy but nice for larger groups or couples. The mold/mildew on the awning support is an easy fix, but it looks gross. Needed to be cleaned a long time ago. This was my second visit, and I would recommend it.
Everything was really amazing..we were there for our Anniversary dinner with our kids which I indicated in my reservation…I would’ve thought that maybe it would have resulted in some sort of acknowledgment from our server/the restaurant. A bit of a wait because of many tourists but our request was taken into account. Very welcoming and smiling service. Delicious peperoni pizzas and cream pasta. Perfect for dinner with our children.
Salad portions are very small for price. Table for 5 was very small when there were many open tables that could've accommodated us. Overall, we were a little disappointed.
The service was excellent our waitress was a kindness wow The meal we ate a pizza which was excellent and that in a very good atmosphere A must in old Montreal Bravo
