We were walking do along the street and saw the bright lights of Bier Markt.Looked at menu and seemed ok, if not on the higher end but you are not a local pub, its a chain with lots of TV's and more.As we checked in we were informed that it was only the second day (August 18) that they had allowed under 18 in the restaurant area .We had to sit upstairs.Waiter was friendly and attentive, but pushed the extras very hard, I was upsold to a Large mug of beer, mostly because I thought he said for $3 more I got the mug, it turned out I just got a bigger beer! We ordered a pretzel and sausage starters, then the upselling came and he urged us to get another starter, so another plate of sausages.When...

We went to Bier Markt for the first time recently with a group of friends. Really liked the vibe of the place ! Great selection of beer, you can get tasters before ordering which was great, we tried the strawberry beer as well as the red berries beer. Very different ! The food was good, although a bit on the pricey side, depending on what you order. The service was awesome (Adam at the bar & Samantha our waitress). The only downside was the live band, the music was way too loud and it made it hard to carry a conversation but aside from that, we were pleased and would return again.
I have been to various Bier Markt locations in Ottawa and Montreal. Overall they have an AMAZING beer selection. Beer prices are average. The atmosphere is usually good and always busy at these spots. The food is also usually very good, although I find it a bit pricey for what it is, but overall a cool spot which I would recommend. went here with a friend on a thursday after arriving from toronto. we passed by this place and saw a sign for 1$/oyster so we decided to eat here for lunch. the oysters were small but fresh. it came with vinegar and lemon. sangria wasn't too bad either
Went there on a Friday night with friends. Very good beer selection, but pricey. Service was good and food was okay. Found the restaurant very hot, asked if A/C was on and they said yes. It was a fun night, I'm just not sure I will go back.
If you like beer this place is for you.There are many local beers, but also from all over the world. They have also delicious duck wings and marple bacon. It goes very well with beers. Lovely servis.

Très grand choix de bières. Choix de plats intéressants. Service excellent. Un peu cher. Tout de même un endroit très agréable.
