**Ambiance:** 4/10. When I walked in, the bar area felt quite isolated and was separate from the restaurant. At the bar, there was a regular customer who appeared to be a bit tipsy in the middle of the day. Additionally, they had gambling machines, which I don’t think is appropriate for a restaurant. **Food and Drinks:** - **Drinks:** 7/10. The bartender made a drink that wasn’t on the menu, and it was quite good. - **Appetizer:** I had chicken wings, which I would rate 5/10. I only received six wings, which felt insufficient. - **Main Course:** I ordered rib chicken with French fries and would give it 4/10. The ribs were dry and lacked sauce, and the chicken was slightly pink. - **Dessert...
We ordered two plates of filet mignon ($43 each), but what we received was a Costco-sourced sirloin bacon tornado, which is sold in pre-marinated packages of eight for about $39-$40. Alongside this, we were given a small serving of Cavendish fries, also from Costco, and a tiny bowl of lettuce. My son and husband found the portion sizes so small that they were still hungry after finishing their meals. In total, we paid $185 for three plates, including the tip, for what felt like Costco ready-made food. We definitely won’t be returning.
The last time I visited Barbies, I gave it a 5-star review. This time, it only deserves a 2-star rating. We arrived at 11:10, just after they opened. The pizza I ordered was overcooked, and while my daughter's lasagna tasted good, it was also a bit overdone. The pizza was dry, and the sweet potato dish was the only item that was properly cooked. On the plus side, the service was good, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, the food just didn't meet expectations. Perhaps I should have gone with the burger instead.
I would recommend avoiding the Fish and Chips. The plate we ordered arrived last and was burnt. However, the burgers were great and the service was excellent. It's worth noting that the debit and credit card machines were having issues as they were newly installed. Additionally, the Mirabel location has been without a manager since November 2021. With a manager and better kitchen oversight, this place could easily earn a fifth star, as most employees seem to enjoy their work and teamwork appears to be strong. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food was good and affordable, staff was nice and friendly BUT took over 25 minutes just to get a glass of water even with tons of employees running around. Inexperience might be the cause but we almost got up and left. Once we finally got some service, nothing to complain about though so this is why I rate it a 3-star. Would've been much worse based on my first impressions.
Disgusting best describes the food I was served in this restaurant. Had a “smoke meat” poutine and the smoked meat was as crunchy as dog food! The staff is inexperienced, impolite and extremely slow! Service is a HUGE ZERO and FOOD WAS A BIG ZERO. The owner was not on site and I was vomiting in the parking lot.
The food was average, typical for a family restaurant. However, the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, and the service felt both rushed and excessively slow. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our meals to arrive.
