When it comes to BBQ I really seem to find a place that has good meat and taste. Most times it's overdone. This place is not. The service is kind but urgency is not there. So don't go there in short order. But don't let that keep you from ordering. The place is not meant to seat a lot of folks. You can but take it to go. Ordered the meat platter. All the meats were smoked and flavorful. I didn't even use the sauce. Wife ordered the pulled pork Mac and cheese. We couldn't finish it as we were pleased and full.
My neighbor recommended this place so we decided to check it out. Wish I had great things to report, but I don't. Ordered online and still had to wait an hr for the food when we arrived. Portions were small, chicken was not fresh and definitely left over from days prior and dry. Mac and cheese worst I ever had, oily and bland. Beef brisket was bland and had more fat than actual meat, and the rice and beans and cole slaw were just horrible. Definitely my first and last visit, just disappointing.
I would like to start off by saying, God Damn!! These men know their BBQ. The style of BBQ is an open style not specific to region. They have managed to incorporate combinations of flavors, sauses and cook style to near perfection. Very pleasantly surprised and a must visit if u eat BBQ. Anything and everything on their menu is downright fire. Don't be fooled by the location/area, these men bring some serious competition. I can't wait to visit again and enjoy their delicious food. This place scares me. The black short lady always stares. The guy with the dreads and a messed up tooth always messes up my order. Last but not least, there’s piled up trash by the bbq pit in the back of the restaurant which rats are definitely claiming. Been to both the physical location (take out) and eaten off of their food truck when they have been at our Summer Swim Team meets. 5 out of 5 stars, all of their food selections are fantastic. Mouth watering delicious

Not what it used to be but still good. The catfish is amazing though they've cut down on the portion (sign of the times, I guess). Still a good place to eat in Stafford.
