I have pretty neutral feelings about this place. It was nothing special, just some pretty normal hard scoop ice cream If that’s what you’re looking for?? one thing was that the workers were sub par. Upon entering there were two high school age girls working and chatting with a friend over the counter and they were nonstop giggling and paid little attention to the customers in front of them.
I absolutely love this place! There are so many delicious flavors to choose from, and many of them are gluten free. Additionally, the cream they use does not contain carrageenan, making it a safe option for people like me who are sensitive to it. Thank you to Tyler and the team for being so considerate and creating such an amazing experience!
My family loves going to Big Dipper! The ice cream is independently owned and made, and the staff is always friendly. The flavors are delicious and I can't imagine giving Big Dipper anything less than 5 stars. I'm happy to have a small, family-owned ice cream shop in the city.

Hand scooped ice cream with tons of variety and available flavors makes this a gem. Great selection of pints and mini-pints ready to go, too. Clean store, friendly staff, and the owner helps support the local hockey association, too!
Good ice cream! A little expensive but, the large variety of flavors big scoops of ice cream are what makes it worth it. The staff are friendly is a fun last day of school tradition.
Big Dipper Ice is absolutely amazing! It's the best ice cream I've ever had, no lie! And Elisabeth Schavee is hands down the best employee there!
