My husband and I were looking for places to eat in the area before our son 's Football game . Also thought it would be a perfect place to watch some NFL . We drove about an hour to get there . We walked in half of the restaurant was being renovated, the other half was decently small . No AC or air flow was going on it happens to be very hot day . Ordered a pizza here for the Super Bowl. We got the big papa 36 as we were having a get together for about 15 people. They split this pizza into 4 sections and you can get different toppings in each. We were able to call ahead about 15 minutes before opening and place an order which was great. It was super easy to pick up as you have to make sure your car fits this massive thing. After getting this back to the house we were finally able to enjoy. The pizza was well made and cooked throughout, looked really good. Thin crust was awesome and this pizza went along way, overall not bad for the price and would definitely order for large groups.
Service is terrible. The guy gave me attitude over the phone for asking questions about the menu. Don't work there if you're unhappy. Food is not worth it. Responding to business manager: Yup, I confirmed the location is in Eagle Rock and I said Adrian because he's the one that was going to pick up the order and pay but I changed my mind and didn't want to order from you guys anymore with that attitude.
I wanted a calzone. I got a calzone. I got what I wanted. No disappointments there. Will come back for calzones. And likely to try their pizzas. The cannoli on the other hand.... Was like hardened frosting in a cannoli shell Not how a cannoli oughta be. It's like when you order a big cookie or a brownie from pizza hut... Very subpar. But if that's your thing, go for it.

Growing up in Eagle Rock, I have to say I am so excited to share my experience with Big Mama's Papa's Pizza! My parents visit frequently and absolutely LOVE not just the pizza, and how delicious it is, but the kindness from the owners and their employees! I ordered the boneless chicken wings cajun style and they were all breading. Barely any chicken. We also had a steak sandwich supreme that was great! I'll mention the wings to them when I am on that block. Love the woman working the counter
I love their pizza, the taster was very unique, the service was fast and the lady was very nice i would love to recommend this to everyone that love PIZZZZZZAAA
