My daughter and I ordered fish and chip meals, eventually the meals arrived. Well the fish was raw Basa which we sent back, the waitress insisted that is the way it is meant to be, umm will I personally think that the oil was way too hot because the crumbs were very very well done. We reordered choosing the grilled Barramundi hoping that would be the safest option. Well it took soo long so we decided to order a wine, umm bad mistake. After waiting for about 20 minutes the lady came out and said that they are out of cabernet sauvignon and they had to go to the bottle shop. Billy Baxter's is a small restaurant with a big personality. The decor, including a snazzy logo and humorous wall art, makes a great first impression. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious, made with Veto beans. The breakfast menu has a tasty Veggie option with scrambled eggs, avocado, bacon, and mushrooms. While the toast is simple and the grilled tomato is plain, the mushrooms could be larger. Overall, with a few small changes, Billy Baxter's could improve their breakfast options. Despite that, it's a tempting alternative to other cafes like Zaraffa's.
We had a wonderful experience at Big Brekkie! Despite reading some negative reviews, we had a fantastic breakfast last Sunday. Both my partner and I ordered the big breakfast - I had scrambled eggs and my partner had poached eggs. The portions were generous and everything was cooked perfectly. Our meals were served promptly, within about 20 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. We will definitely be returning in the future.
we have made one of our rare trips toombul shopping town to get shoes I had ordered before a week ago. we noticed a new food outlet near the front circular traffic of the shopping complex. billy baxter’s has this great atmosphere, dune...in or have a walking look, very relaxing! the staff is all so polite and friendly. Although we had only time for a sandwich and coffee, this was quality! we will return soon.

Breakfast for the family on a Sunday morning at Billy Baxter’s was well worth it. We had savoury mince on toast and Billy’s Big Breakfast and one Bacon and Eggs. All the meals were cooked and served perfectly. Each family member cleaned their plates and...had nothing but compliments for each dish. Coffee was equally delicious. The staff and service are a credit to the Cafe. Keep up the good work.
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast in this clean and comfortable restaurant. Recently upgraded as part of the Toombul Shopping Centres renovations, the decor is bright, modern and comfortable. Our meals arrived promptly and were hot, plentiful and delicious. Menu is good and prices very reasonable. Nice...restaurant to relax and enjoy a meal.
First visit to this cafe for reakfast. Service was quick and efficient. Cafe area inside and outside was very clean and tidy. My meal arrived after a short wait. Well presented, hot fresh and tasty. Coffee was very good. Good menu selection as well as a " specials" board. Costs are very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
Located at the Sandgate Road entrance to the Toombul Shopping Centre where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and meet friends away from the hussle and bussle of noisy shoppers. The food is fresh and staff friendly.
