We had an amazing Sunday roast here a few years ago, before Covid. We happened to be passing through a couple of weeks ago so decided to call in again and hopefully repeat the experience. It was absolutely chucking it down with rain, so we parked the car and quickly ran in. There was a couple of people in the front bar but absolutely no one in the restaurant. The landlord told us that they had taken over the pub a year ago and so we did wonder if the food would be of the same standard. Unfortunately, it was not. I wanted to bite with my son. had the Camembert star. the best I ever had. chef added a few things and it was brilliant. very recommended to go, thank you young, beautiful
