Bistrot Campagnard

Staying at Holiday Inn Bougival for 3 nights we had been told there was nowhere to eat!! But luckily we found this little gem of a restaurant and had a wonderful 3 course meal for just 13 euros which included a lovely glass of sangria,...it was by far the best meal we had during the whole 4 day stay and surely surpassed the 10 euro poor excuse for an omelette we had at Montmatre (what a rip off). The lovely waitress could not have been more welcoming and helpful and the chef cooked the food to order, bread was included (plenty) and food was delicious and very flavourful and delivered hot. The only sad thing was that the restaurant was closed on the Sunday so we could not eat there again and...

I ordered the Cassolette, it was dry and chewy, the ham, the sausage and the chicken, for me were inedible and I could not and did not eat it, unlike my brother in law who waded in to it and enjoyed it. For me the...meat needed much more fluid in the cooking, I am a retired chef, but I have some eating problems now and need gravy with everything, It would though not get anywhere near Master Chef level, nor would I send it out of the kitchen to a customer, looking round at other serving of food they all looked dry and unpalatable. They did not however charge of the meal.

Accueil et service très sympa, les plats (hamburger) sont tres généreux mais manque d'originalité (garniture et sauce mériteraient un peu de différences entre le Burger boeuf, poulet ou poisson, les trois que l'on a essayé). Les pommes de terre servies avec sont tres bonnes. Peu de choix sur la carte gage du fait maison bien que j'ai un doute sur le poisson pané de mon burger. Côté prix, un peu chère pour des hamburgers (22,30 euros). Le reste de la carte oscille entre 20 et 25 euros le plat.

Le sud ouest dans sa plus grande splendeur. Un accueil sympathique, une carte interessante avec des plats,.... XXL et tout bonnement délicieux. Un retour aux sources. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, à la hauteur des plats servis. J'y retournerai très certainement avec de bons mangeurs. we came early with my business partner, almost an hour before the opening hours. we were welcomed as if open, sitting and served immediately. both the cook and the waiter clearly showed that they are here to make the customers happy, and we were happy. made to order omelette was fantastic and generous, as the cheese that ended our dinner. Thank you!

Nous y sommes allé pour le soir du 14 juillet, accueil très convivial , cadre chaleureux, les produits sont frais, les plats très copieux, le chef et son équipe très attentionné surtout avec notre bébé, juste ce qu'il fallait pour passer une belle soirée. Je recommande l'entrecôte sauce truffes, excellente !Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

I never rated a restaurant here. but after eating here I had to, this is simply the best food and service that they can find in this area, brilliant little restaurant, with the best staff ever, they are there for them and makes it a...ful pleasure to go there, I try to go there for all business meetings, but also private. love it

Accueil tres sympathique, de bonnes suggestions et des explications claires. Les plats sont genereux, tres copieux (heureusement il est possible de repartir aver un doggy bag!) . Les prix restent tout doux au regard de la qualite des plats. Une tres tres bonne adresse que ns n'hesiterons pas a visiter de nouveau tres bientot. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

de passage pour un déjeuner. Accueil sympa, Le plat choisi était généreux et copieux, en cuisine traditionnelle, sauce crémeuse et agréable, produits fraisle prix 18€ me semble un peu élevé.

general portions, good family atmosphere, amazing southwestern kitchen. vegetarian stay away, meat lovers it is paradies!
