we were on the Dutch side of ste. maarten and wanted to experience the French side of st. martin for dinner. we were on vacation for our 40-year anniversary and wanted a nice experience. berot caraibes met our expectations. the menu had good choices and the right portions. my man had the french woof and the duck and was very satisfied with his meal. I had the endive salad with blue cheese and the scallops. coming from the new england coast, where they have the freshest scalopps, I was a little worried that I would not enjoy the dish, but it was perfectly cooked. my man had the crème brûlée dessert and I had the sorbet sortiment. my man said it was very good and the sorbet was very delicious...
our favorite restaurant! the 2 brothers are so welcoming and hospitable! the personal is very special. we love the charming francois! we always love the lobster, but decided to try differently at our second visit. the filet and the calfs were wonderful! the creamy Escargot...oh la la la la! desserts can die!, wait to return to our favorite island and favorite restaurant!
the hummerbisque was unfortunately a bit watery and tasteless
wonderful meal as always. recommend to the lobster thermidor.
