We live in the town so take visiting friends and family here regularly throughout the year, as well as treating ourselves in between times.......The food standard remains excellent, and superb value for money. What has changed is that the restaurant has extended into the former art gallery next door, so is much more spacious. In addition, the front of house and most of the waiting staff has changed, the incoming staff being more attentive than some of their predecessors. As an overall dining experience it is my favourite place in St Gervais, and I'd recommend it highly to anyone visiting the town.
What a great place. The food we'd so good I had to have a little snooze to sleep it off. I would go again. The starter was very tasty but the steak was exceptional big enough to share. My wife's lamb was great and she was very pleased. The dessert choice created a whole problem in itself. Too much yummy stuff. For the standard of food the price was good value. We didn't try the wine list as we were both driving later that day but I didn't see anyone complaining. Next time I'm going to go when I don't have to drive to the airport.
We dined here once during the February half-term and again several times over Easter. They specialize in grilled meats and are very good at it. The restaurant is spacious and quiet even when full, quite a contrast with most other restaurants in the middle of St Gervais during the high season. We have always dined here with children and the children have always loved the food here, no matter how unusual; in February they offered roast quail! The restaurant is neither cheap nor expensive but offers outstanding value.
Not as posh as it's "sister" restaurant Le Serac (that has a Michelin star), but the staff are as attentive and the food, although different, as good. Meat from different parts of the world, expertly aged and expertly cooked. Particularly good value as the three course meal is Euros 27!!! A "must" are the mashed potatoes with truffles ... to die for!

This was probably the best 27E you will spend on a set menu. A small menu but great choice and fantastic food. A complete bargain with half a dozen oysters thrown in the mix. Liver was superb and deserts from the main patisserie we amazing. Don't miss this place but book a table!!!!
As we came to St Gervais, just a few months ago, BistroSerac has become my favourite dining place - a great place to come with family and friends alike. Good food, enjoyable, reliable and so friendly. This is ambiance at its best, a place to come back to!
The lunch menu with a main course and a desert is so good with an incredible value. Bistrot cooking at its best level. Nice decoration, comfortable. Easy service. Good wines. Simplicity. Excellent products. Excellent cooking. Very nice atmosphere.
I had dinner here with four friends when we were on a skiing holiday in Saint Gervais. We ate from the set menu and the food was very good. We particularly liked the desserts which we chose from the cake counter in the shop.

Brief menu of very fresh high quality ingredients cooked briefly in an open kitchen. The food was beautifully presented and served quickly and efficiently. Very busy out of season definitely need to book.
Excellent food and service in this small Lebanese restaurant.
