The ambiance envelopes you with its outstretched arms and coddles you in a soothing and satiating nature as you dine on delicacies that delight without the staff even breaking a sweat. We went to the murder mystery event at The Black Forest Inn and it was good. I've been there before and I do enjoy the food and especially the atmosphere. This time I had the veal meal that came with the event and the chocolate mousse dessert which was maybe the best part, the sauces for the mousse was a really great touch and delicious.
We have dined at The Black Forest Inn since 1991. Fabulous service, outstanding German cuisine and traditional decor. The BEST dish is not on the menu! Veal medallions 3 ways. Always perfect. Very festive during the holidays. It is worth the investment in time and treasure.
Authentic German cuisine. American fare also offered. Quality ingredients are appreciated here along with great recipes and excellent service. I love it here! Really great German food, plus other foods, too. Nice service, too, and we met the chef. A little pricey for lunchtime, but, what are ya gonna do?
Good German food, very nice waitress in traditional garb. The kids had never seen people drink out of a mug ... Maybe they can serve root beer in them.
