we were stopped here on the way to or from the tunnel. we loved the pub atmosphere. very cozy, especially in winter. the rooms are not so cozy and I have to say that the beds are now some of the most unpleasant we ever fall asleep. the matrate is soft and delicate. the worst night of all time. on the other side, the breakfast is very good. eating is not exceptional, but good, especially in comparison to the frightening level of food quality in pubs today. and the staff is also very nice. So. please invest them in new bed linen and try to improve the eating. because it is expensive for what it is.
last night had a really nice meal and the staff was so nice and friendly. but it pampered it a bit to always ask for the Dessert menu and then ask someone to take our order and then wait timed to pay the bill, but we will return! it would be nice to have the same waitress all the time and not three or four different, maybe this could be considered?
THE place to go for a Sunday roast. Epic food, fresh and tasty. Just glorious on all fronts. Love rustic pub and restaurant area, only downside is parking can be a bit tricky some times. Can’t mark them down for this as it’s only tricky because it’s popular!
can not be mistaken this place, stayed for 2 nights and all was place on, would certainly recommend the black horse, eating is excellent, staff very friendly. However, they must have a ski lift from the lower end of the hill to the bar, lol. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Lovely pub with separate accommodation in the external grounds, food and service really good. Rooms are a bit tired but only dropped one star as the rest was good
