Why have I waited so long to try this place. That is the only disappointment. So for uniqueness let's start with the other patrons. Everyone hanging out here is so nice. Offering suggestions, saying hi, and having a good time. Fun place. Very friendly. The decor was fun and party like. If I was younger I would have got up to dance but I worked all day and was happy to bounce in my seat. The staff was very attentive. Wanted to know about us first. Is it our first time here? Are we from the area? Then due to new management, then asked if throughout the night we had any requests, feedback or suggestions to please let them know. Our server Michael was awesome. We started with fried calamari as an appetizer, but we were so eager to dig in that I forgot to take a photo before we started eating. The fried calamari was amazing, and it came with a sweet and spicy sauce that made my mouth water just thinking about it! By the time we finished our entrees, we were so full that we had to take some home. We also indulged in a peach cobbler, and let me tell you, it was divine—truly something special! Went to eat at Bleu Clarinet last night with bubba first time there and I can gladly say I will definitely be back, the food was exquisite so **** tasty, so much flavor. I'm happy there's finally a soul food place nearby I'm tired of going all the way to queens for it. Food is not great! One bartender for a packed room. Clearing the tables takes forever. But they have good music and open space for a dance floor.
The ribs were smoking. They could have been a little more generous with the salad dressing, but that's a a critique not a complaint.
