Aus irgendeinem Grund finde ich den Namen Off-Puting, aber wenn viele der Frühstücksgelenke auf der ROKEBY-Straße einen Samstag waren, entschieden wir uns, ihm einen Schuss zu geben ... und ich bin so froh, dass wir es getan haben! Der Kaffee war wunderbar glatt, der saft frisch gepresste und das Essen lecker! Ich wählte den Schmerz Perdu und ich muss sagen, es sei eines der besten Bedienung des französischen Toasts, den ich hatte (und das ist meine Geting-Frühstückswahl). Der Service war aufmerksam, höflich und freundlich. Wir planen bereits unseren nächsten Besuch, vielleicht zum Abendessen. Ich liebe dieses kleine Juwel auf der Rokeby Road.
For some reason I find the name off-putting but when many of the breakfast joints on Rokeby Road were full one Saturday, we decided to give it a shot...and I'm so glad we did! The coffee was wonderfully smooth, the juice freshly squeezed and the food delicious! I chose the Pain Perdu and I have to say it was one of the best serves of French Toast I've had (and this is my go-to breakfast choice). The service was attentive, polite and friendly. We are already planning our next visit, perhaps for dinner. I'm loving this little gem on Rokeby Road.
Ich bin ein Lokal und ich fühle mich fast verräterisch, Ihnen zu sagen, was ein schöner Ort das Abendessen oder Mittagessen ist. Das Ambiente, der Mitarbeiterservice und die Freundlichkeit, die tolle Weinkarte und die köstlichen französischen Tarif ... schöne Aromen, gute Portionen. Es ist wie in einem französischen Bistro, auf jeden Fall ohne die Vorspannung. Wenn Sie einen besseren Ort kennen, dann gehen Sie. Ich bleibe an den blutigen Französisch.
I am a local and I feel almost traitorous to be telling you what a lovely place this is to have dinner or lunch. The ambience, staff service and friendliness, the terrific wine list and the delicious French fare...beautiful flavours, good portions..it is like being in a French Bistro, definitely without the pretension. Nicht sicher, dass ich zurückgehen würde. Das Essen war schön, aber ich wurde zunächst von dem Lärm und dem Rauch im Restaurant aus dem offenen Feuer versetzt. Wenn das Feuer verwaltet und verbrannt hätte, hätte ich nicht nach Hause kommen und alles waschen. Portionsgrößen ein wenig klein und der Service fehlte bei der Bereitstellung von Unterstützung und Vorschlägen.
Not sure I'd go back. Food was lovely but I was initially put off by the noise and the smoke in the restaurant from the open fire. If the fire was managed and actually burning I wouldn't have had to come home and wash everything. Portion sizes a little small and the service was lacking in providing assistance and suggestions.
Sehr empfehlenswert. Das Essen ist hervorragend - ernsthaft gut ????? Liebte das geschmorte Kaninchen und das Tintenfisch. Der französische Käse war auch hervorragend. Riesige Überraschung, um so einen großartigen Ort in Perth zu finden ????
Schönes gemütliches Gefühl und aufmerksames Personal. Wir bestellten das Kaninchen und das Lamm, das beide perfekt kochten, allerdings ein wenig reich, aber dass es mit französischer Küche erwartet wird. Wird auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Lovely homely feeling and attentive staff. We ordered the rabbit and the lamb, both cooked perfectly- albeit a little rich, but that it to be expected with French cuisine. Will definitely return!
