We had Sunday roast last week. Meal was disappointing to say the least. I had tiny portion of pork belly which was tough. Cauliflower cheese barely had any cheese, mainly flour and milk. There was barely there vegetable consisting of a tiny carrots and two sprouts of broccoli. There was no crispness to the potatoes and were still hard. Overall pretty diabolical meal. My partner had roast chicken and did not fare any better. Maybe Blue Anchor is relying simply on the location and view of the river to pull in customers. I definitely won't be a repeat customer.
Very characteristic place. Courteous service but high staff and a little slow to clear the tables of previous customers and it was a little dirty but it was a Saturday night.... Nice people who frequent it
Loved it. Amazing pub. I left some videos so you can see it gets really crowded on a sunny day. People are just there for a good time. Amazing vibe. Fries are really good as well :

My £17 Chicken Caesar salad five lettuce leaves, a burnt bone dry little finger size sliver of chicken two pieces streaky bacon underwhelmed
