Our local chippy is pants. We don't fancy fish and chips that much but when you do its nice to have them cooked properly and using quality fresh ingredients. Searched the reviews and despite the odd average Blue Atlantic came out best. Drove over and...went in, received a pleasant greeting and was allowed time to peruse the menu without interruption. The Blue Atlantic has received a stars hygiene rating from the local council and deservedly so, the shop is spotless. Nice menu with all the usual chippy goodies but a few other things like the foot-long banger, salt and pepper squid. after I spent in the previous recently I quite sometime after a large fish and chip shop to be used to large fresh fish and chips that have been living at the sea for many years and rehearsing great meals, this fish and chip shop is too...a standard that corresponds to what I was used and is not just good, but the cost is reasonable
The food is excellent and cooked in good clean oil so its healthy and good for you (well that's what I tell myself Extensive and varied menu. Large portions and excellent value. The shop is very clean and has a star hygiene rating....Fantastic. I like it and can't find a better chip shop.
chose large cod chips after swimming. large cod means that a large part is warned. perfectly cooked, nice teig, good part of the chips. very competent, friendly staff. order in advance for time ready for collection. very recommended jr

all of the food that was provided was excellent and most of the staff were friendly , however there was this underage teen who ,kept staring at me for no reason , who worked there, I would highly suggest his removal from the business.
Visited the the Blue Atlantic for traditional fish chips and mushy peas whilst visiting family in Wellingborough on a trip from Australia. The battered Cod and chips were fab and my husband had a chicken and mushroom pukka pie
We have been using this place for a few weeks .They can be a little slow at times but last week was amazing in out in minutes! The fish is a good size delicious! Plenty of chips per portion.Give it a try!
By far the best chippy in Northants. The cod pieces are great and chips are awesome. Don’t forget the mushy peas, they’re great. All fish cooked to order.

we bouht fish and chips the portion sizes were generous, but the fish had no time to drain and was very fat.
very poor service. waited for an hour in the icy cold for a pre-ordered meal. personal very unhelpful
