Very cool gem of a restaurant right here in Stamford, TX. The service was excellent and the food was better. My wife and I had the fish tacos which was the special for the day and we both loved them. The red beans that came with them were delicious and the house made chips and salsa was phenomenal. Great place, highly recommend. We've been back several times since my initial review and it has always been great. The chef here can really cook. I had some BBQ brisket tacos one night and they were delicious. I'll probably dream about them. So good. And the service is always great. Everyone is friendly and they're great servers.
Fantastic little out of the way lunch spot, get there early or br ready to wait. Server was running, literally bouncing off the walls to seat people and take care of tables- and she did it all with professionalism and a genuine smile. That young lady is definitely motivated. The Reuben sandwich was a delight, the home made potato chips stile the show- crisp, flavorful, light.... perfect. Had the fish and chips with the slaw. The fish was light and tasty. The slaw was the bomb and the chips were hot. A bit salty but still good. Service was great and with a smile. Couldn’t ask for any better at such a small town diner. It’s great and worth a drive to see and try.

Place is jammed packed most of the time and the insides are pretty cramped but when you can get in, its very good and timley service with a nice waitress all kinds of food makes it a spot to revisit
The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere and offers home-cooked meals. The service is quick and the staff is welcoming.
I always have a great experience at BJC. I really love this place! The food is high quality and reasonably priced.
