We had an excellent dining experience with delicious food, and the roasted eggplant was a standout dish, but everything we tried was great. The beer selection is quite trendy for a tavern, and the overall bar offerings were satisfactory. However, the staff's performance felt a bit over-the-top and possibly inexperienced, which was somewhat off-putting. The dining room itself is nicely decorated, although it could use a bit more decor. That said, the historic charm of the building somewhat compensates for it. We dined with a diverse group during a special celebration, and everyone was very pleased with both the food and the overall experience. I'm already looking forward to dining here again.

We started with some fantastic barbecue potato chips, followed by perfectly prepared edamame sprinkled with sea salt. The highlight was the Reuben sandwich with eight-day marinated beef brisket, sauerkraut, pickles, and 1000 island dressing on marble rye—it was excellent! We wrapped up our meal with delicious mozzarella sticks served with a fresh tomato marinara sauce. A glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio complemented the meal perfectly. Another email informed us that they are now offering Sunday brunch. This restaurant is definitely a great find!
The cubano was fantastic. I began my meal with a Caesar salad, which was fresh and crispy, perfectly dressed to my liking. Small place so it gets filled especially on weekend nights. Simple atmosphere. I had the clam chowder and wasnt impressed with it but everyone else with me enjoyed their meals. The mozzarella sticks were yum and the service was great.
Charming and inviting! The burgers and desserts are fantastic, and they offer a great selection of bottled beer, draft beer, and wine. I highly recommend it for a date or a family outing. The bar area is also very cozy!
So happy to have this place back. The new owner is fantastic and this is a major improvement over the last couple of owners. Good selection of good food. A nice bar and a great place to kick back on the deck.
