This is such a hidden gem! I'm a LA Native, but discovered this hidden gem from my mom's coworker. Their Mantou is the BEST you can ever find. My family's all time favorite is the milk/plain Mantou. Last I went back was in December of 2020. The prices of their Dim Sum is very affordable. A mantou the size of a grown man's fist is $0.75. I always stock up before I head back to LA with about 100 mantou to share with family and friends. I wish they could open one in LA. You have to go there!! We’ve stumbled across this small shabby looking shop in dire need of some food and have now been there three days in a row. The food is amazing for an unbelievable price. They only serve take out, and if you get there later in the day, some items might be sold out, but everything we’ve tried is delicious.
Delicious dim sum. Very flavorful and juicy. I recommend the shrimp and pork. So tasty. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back. Pricing is reasonable, and the ladies working were very helpful in selecting the right option for me.
Don’t sleep on this OG dim sum spot in the heart of North Beach, very authentic, open early, rarely any line or any people at all really. Highly reccomend for casual fare snack.
I inquired about their longevity peach buns and found out that they require a pre-order with a minimum of three dozen. That’s just way too many!
