Extremely disappointed. Sushi was bland or just downright gross. Ordered a spicy tuna roll and it was literally a tuna roll with Sriracha literally dumped in gobs on top. Ordered an avocado roll with tobiko, specifically requested to be *inside* the roll (this is my fave roll and I order it every time I get sushi) I got a cup of tobiko on the side. When ordering I specified which rolls were for which meal and each roll came in an individual container; how wasteful. This was the 3rd chance for Bluetail and I have been equally disappointed every time. Will not be ordering from them again. Went to Bluetail Sushi on a Thursday night and the restaurant was busy. There were continuous take out orders being picked up during our time at the restaurant so you know their fish are fresh. We ordered the love boat, Belly dance roll (left), BC roll (middle), spicy tuna (right), cucumber roll (bottom left), and a Sake Sangria. My family and I enjoyed all their rolls. Service was fast and friendly. Will definately recommend this restaurant to others if they are in Kelowna.Note, I love how they provide a thicker disposable napkin.
I would avoid this restaurant at any price. I went tonight to order for a ride. the waiters have not taken care of the points on the menu. the manager was extremely rude and didn't wear a real face mask. he worked hectic on a bokong suppe over which he breathed, and did not practice the right food, except or held up to the current arrangements of public health. the general cleanliness was below average and I left the house immediately. avoid this restaurant around any price.
Unbelievably rude treatment by the hostess. We asked for one of two empty booths (easier seating for our young kid) and waited while they went to clean it. After a few minutes we noticed that no one had cleaned either booth. Then the hostess came back and said she wouldn 't get around to cleaning it for maybe ten or fifteen minutes. Fantastic lunch, great service. Very clean and friendly staff. I order a large amount of food for one person with the intention of taking leftovers for a snack later. I had to hold back on my eating as everything was so delicious. Very fair pricing compared to other sushi restaurants I have visited. Highly recommend.
Bluetail is my go to for my lunch or dinner deliveries. I love the Brussel sprouts dishes and all the creative sushi. Perogies to vegetarian, my personal favs are the ones that have mango. I accidentally got one of my rolls fried and now I do it all the time. Such delicious food.
it is not even decent sushi. taste like bought in the Sobeys store. it was extremely overpriced for the quality and the lack of taste. if they want good sushi, they go to kaya.
Price could be cheaper but it's not too bad. Takeout service was quick and accurate. The shrimp had the tails on them so if you didn't notice, you'd eat a deep fried tail. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food arrived so quickly I felt I had barely let go of the menu. AND it was delicious. Friendly service, good fast food what else could you ask for??
