Prices have gone up in recent times but I gave it 4 stars as some of the staff there, two young females on particular, didn't seem to make the customer experience complete. I was at the deli and I was asked what I wanted. I requested some olives and feta cheese and the container was tossed back at me on the counter with a floppy wrist and an oil smears on the container. On checkout, one of the check out girls just didn't seem to realise that if you work for an establishment that's reknown for some excellent produce, you have to at least play along with the delivery of service with a smile, whether or not you like the job. If you don't enjoy it, why do it? But anyway, that's just my two cents...
We recently stopped by Boatshed Market in Cottesloe on a Saturday morning after having breakfast at May Street Larder and doing some shopping at Claremont Quarter. As soon as we walked in, I was struck by the impressive size of the market and felt a bit overwhelmed with all the choices. To my left was a large selection of cakes and bread, directly ahead was fresh produce, and to my right was a gourmet butcher. I knew I had to grab a basket and dive in!
Boat shed is in a lane of it's own. It is pricey but you pay for the fine quality and service. If you go and complain that a boxed item is $6 less In another shop then you're in the wrong section. They have amazing fresh produce! Sea food and meat selections are fantastic not to mention there freshly made breads desserts and meals. Not only all that but there's always a happy staff member ready to help you out.
Rip off. So over priced! These gourmet style markets are all over WA, I love them and understand they will be more expensive than Coles, but this takes the cake as the most expensive by far! They're clearly trying to attract only the very rich people in that area. Even if my bank account was loaded I wouldn't shop there because they're just taking the **** with such high margins!

There is a large variety of quality foods available, however they can be a bit pricey. I have found that the pre-cooked meals available at the deli don’t seem to taste as fresh or nice as they used to about a year ago.
Not a bad place for a quick lunch stop. Got a pre made ham salad roll and some ploughman's buns. Asked for a cheese roll to be made up, but staff said they don't make them up in the deli during the day.

Every about the Boatshed is amazing! The quality of everything here is excellent - but you are paying a bit more for it.

You won't find a more spectacular display of fresh food in WA.
