If I can give this place a true 0 I would. When I walked in. A cigarette sitting on the floor by the hostess stand used nasty squished cigarette. Once I told the hostess she bushed it off like no big deal and Ignored my kid when she asked a question. Next issue I ordered oatmeal and fresh Fruit saying I’d prefer blueberries and strawberries. What I got was definitely not fresh and the oatmeal tasted (as it was plain) like it was made 3days ago with crust and clearly not fresh. Upon talking to the manager she said the strawberry were not coming in looking good as they are “out of season” and I say okay than why serve it. Take it off the menu and she says. eating here was terrible and the management has to deal with it. from the 3 meal times that were ordered, a (blueberry pancake) had to be sent back because they were extremely spicy/underboiled. the other two were edible, but not good (bland and lukewarm). came with domestic fries that were not eaten because they were almost cold, gum-like and no spice (also salt). the service was okay, but I don't believe in spending money on terrible food or wasting food because it is not possible. Eat should be thoroughly boiled, taste fresh, and hot served to a minimum. that was not the case here. due to this culinary experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to others, nor eat here in the future...
As for my parents’ meals, they were mediocre; one was a bit dry, and the other came with cantaloupe that wasn't fully ripe. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Additionally, they used to make pick-up orders very convenient with a shelf on the left side where you could quickly grab your order. Now, they have moved the pick-up area behind the registers, which means you have to stand there waiting for staff to acknowledge you, which I found to be another drawback.
Went two times during my yearly trip to Grand Rapids. Had Vanessa both times as our waitress and she was PHENOMENAL! She not only was kind and polite, but she was on top of our needs as her table. She brought two drinks for each of us right away, recommended food when we asked about it, and just went above and beyond to make our experience pleasurable. Will definitely be going back. Vanessa deserves a raise, a promotion or both.

Black Water Siren was a great choice! Loved the food! Fish Rueben is delicious! Regular fish sandwich was great with beans and rice. Juan was our server and he was very knowledgeable and very helpful describing all of the meal choices. He was very attentive throughout our time there. Clam chowder was delicious! I don’t know why this says Bob Evans above…
Everything was good as usual. As long as there's a Bob Evans in my area, I know I can sit and have a great, and reasonably priced, meal. Check out any location and you'll be pleased with the all around great customer service and tasty food.
We enjoyed our lunch yesterday! roast sandwich and hearty beef soup delicious as always! I'm glad we found this Bob Evans on our visit to Grand Rapids, MI. We miss Bob Evans in Orange City, Florida, where we live. Business closed recently
We had a waiter who was new, but he did a great job, we were impressed. The food was good as usual, but we were disappointed that you no longer have meat on the menu.
