The whole experience was underwhelming. First, it took awhile before we were allowed to order since they had to show us their platter of raw meat and explain the different cuts. We did not want to see the meat. This is not art..it 's meat. My filet mignon was one of the worst I have ever had. It was not a center cut as promised. It had fat and grizzle running through a large section of it, which was in not edible. My wife had Salmon. The fish itself was excellent, but the dish would have been much better if the fish was served with vegetables and potatoes instead of a huge portion of cold lettuce. All in all, a big disappointment for a restaurant that bills itself as a Premium steak and fish...
What an incredible experience! The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Everything we tried was delicious—from the foie gras and Caesar salad as appetizers to the ravioli and ribeye steak for our main courses, each dish was exquisite. Although we live an hour away from Boefish, we will definitely return time and time again. We’ve decided it’s our new favorite restaurant. While some may consider it pricey, I believe the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I've dined at places that charged the same amount for mediocre meals. Next time, we’re looking forward to trying the 45-day aged Tomahawk steaks!
It was a lovely evening with the snow falling outside! However, it seemed that the waitress was a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers. We ordered our drinks, but our food arrived before the drinks did, and this was the pattern for the entire night. The table next to us expressed their dissatisfaction with their food, and we could hear everything they said. The waitress frequently came by to clear our empty glasses and plates, but she didn’t offer to bring us anything in return. Additionally, we found a few pieces of shell in our oysters, which can be quite sharp, so you have to be cautious!
we came to boefish as a celebrity thank you to our brother and belle-souer for all their help at the establishment of our new second home condo in sherbrooke. we had a nice evening with impeccable and friendly service. all steaks and the salmon of the person were perfectly prepared for request. supplements were good and appetizers exquisite. we had excellent drinks and much attention from the friendly staff without feeling overwhelmed by him. we will be back if we want to celebrate other things or just a very good, very special culinary experience in sherbrooke! Absolutely wonderful, and dare I say... magical! It was my father's birthday, and our server made this occasion truly memorable. The food was perfection, cooked exactly to our liking.
